Friends of the Constitution Trail

Park benches are a wonderful way to memorialize a lost loved one. Each of the municipalities which manage the trail offers the ability to place benches.

If you wish to place a bench along the trail within the City of Bloomington, residents can contact Katie Taylor at the City of Bloomington. Her contact information is ktaylor@cityblm.org or (309) 434-2260.

The Town of Normal Parks and Recreation Department manages the Living Tribute Program, which includes benches and trees located along the trail. Information on the program, restrictions, and the request form can be found on the Town’s website. Due to the success of the program, there are no sites currently available for memorial benches along the Constitution Trail south of Vernon Street to the Town limits.
